We're excited to announce the return of the Newport Harbor Tri in 2025. The event will take place on Sunday, July 20th.

What is it?
The Newport Harbor Tri is a triathlon through the Newport harbor, right here on the Oregon central coast: swim the Newport Aquatic Center, bike the Yaquina Bay road, and run the Yaquina Bay Bridge to the finish.
We will use chip timing in this triathlon for more accurate timing results. Proceeds will go towards funding youth sports and programs.
Divisions
We offer a division for youth with different age brackets (ages 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, and 11-12) and a 13+ age bracket for adults. You can see all the division course lengths under Course Maps heading.
We will have men's, women's, and mixed categories for adults, and adaptive options for participants of all ages.
When to race
This event takes place on June 20th, 2025. More information about event times will be released closer to the triathlon date.
